Why can't I sign up with a free email address?

Myphoner requires a business email on your own domain to create an account — here's why, and how to get one.

Written by Jeppe Liisberg

Myphoner accounts require a business email address on your own domain — sign-ups with free email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, Outlook.com and similar) are not accepted, and we're unable to make exceptions.

Why?

Cold calling is a trust-sensitive activity, and we vet who uses our platform. Requiring a custom-domain email is part of keeping Myphoner's calling infrastructure (and every customer's caller reputation) in good standing.

How to get a business email

If you don't have one yet, any of these will get you a professional address on your own domain quickly:

  • Many domain registrars (Namecheap, Cloudflare, one.com, …) offer inexpensive email hosting with a domain purchase.

Once you have your business address, sign up with it and you're on your way.
