The Power Dialer now treats every phone number on a lead as part of a mini call-queue. Whether you click Dial for a single call or launch an Auto Dial session, the dialer will automatically work its way through each number in sequence. A small sequence icon on the call panel shows how many numbers remain for the current lead. When a call connects, the sequence pauses, giving you space to decide what comes next.
After you hang up: the quick-pick banner
The moment you end a connected call, a banner slides in with two actions:
Mark as bad – Flags the just-called number so it’s skipped in all future dialing - use this if you reached the wrong contact or the number is otherwise not useful.
Dismiss – Keeps the number in the lead record and move on without flagging it.
If you don’t choose, the banner auto-dismisses after five seconds and the dialer behaves as if you clicked Dismiss.
How Auto Dialer handles busy, no-answer, and bad numbers
During an Auto Dial run the system makes the decisions for you:
Busy or no answer – Immediately jumps to the next number, then to the next lead once the list is exhausted.
Bad numbers – Numbers you’ve flagged (or flag during the run) are silently skipped; no further action needed.
You can still pause Auto Dial at any point, disposition the lead, or manually stop the sequence.
Quick tips for smoother sessions
Keep numbers current. Bad or out-of-date details slow you down. Use Mark as bad liberally so the dialer learns what to avoid.
Lean on hotkeys. While the quick-pick banner is visible, press b to mark the last number bad, Esc to dismiss the banner, or c to dial
(call) the next number—no mouse required.
Choose the right mode. Use Auto Dial for hands-free dialing through large lists, or single Dial when you need more control over each contact.
