Compliant softphones
Myphoner will try to activate the VoIP softphone (dialer) installed on your computer when you click a phone number (via click-to-dial), so you need one installed and ready to dial real phones.

Enabling click-to-dial in Windows
Type "default apps" in the Windows search bar.
Click Default apps in the search results.
Scroll down and click Choose default apps by protocol.
Find CALLTO, click Choose a default, then select your softphone. If you already have an app assigned, click it and select your softphone.
Find TEL, click Choose a default, then select your softphone. If you already have an app assigned, click it and select your softphone.
Using click-to-dial on Windows
Open Myphoner and go to a lead.
Click on the lead phone number.
When prompted, click the option to choose an app to open the link.
Chrome: Click Open Pick an app. Click the checkbox if you want Chrome to automatically open your softphone when you click on phone numbers.
Firefox: Select Pick an app and click Open link. Click the checkbox if you want Firefox to automatically open your softphone when you click on phone numbers.
If prompted, select your softphone and select Always use this app.
Click OK.
Your softphone will dial the selected number.
Enabling click-to-dial on MacOS
Open FaceTime.
From the main menu, click FaceTime then Preferences.
Click the Settings tab.
In the Default for calls field at the bottom of the window, select your softphone.
โNote: If your softphone is not visible in the list of options, sign out and sign back in to your macOS.
Choosing the right VoIP handle in Myphoner
Go to your preferences by clicking your avatar icon to the upper right and selecting "My Preferences". Click on the "Dialling" tab on the left-hand side. Select your VoIP handle from the Dialler drop-down menu.
