Your setup is the checklist you land on after the setup wizard. It shows where each part of your account stands, with one button per item, so you can finish in any order and come back later. Your account works from the moment you sign up. Nothing on this page blocks you from making calls.
For the wizard itself, see New to Myphoner? Start here.
Who sees Your setup
Your setup belongs to the account owner, the person who signed up. It exists for accounts created through the new sign-up.
Account owner: opens the checklist and works through it.
Other admins: can't open the page. If they try, they get "You are not authorised to view that page." Their home page shows who is setting up and how far they've come: "{owner} is finishing setting up Myphoner: N of M done." There's no button.
Everyone else: sees nothing about it.
How to get to it
From the home page: the "Finish setting up Myphoner" panel shows "N of M done." and a Your setup button. On the dashboard, the same message appears as a banner with a Your setup link.
By address: go to
/v2/onboarding/setupon your account's address, for exampleyourcompany.myphoner.com/v2/onboarding/setup.
If you haven't chosen how you call yet, the home page sends you back into the wizard first, at the step you left.
What the page shows
At the top, "N of M done." counts the items in the main list. Below it, Optional holds Email, CRM and Clients. Go to Myphoner at the bottom takes you into the app.
Each row has a status:
Status | What it means |
Done | Finished. The detail line says what you chose. Many done items keep a button, such as Change, in case you want to revisit them. |
Open | Still to do. The row shows an empty ring and a button to start. |
Waiting | Your part is done, or the item needs something before it can finish. The row shows a clock. Waiting doesn't count as done. |
Locked | Not available on your plan. The row shows a lock and the words "Not on your plan", with no button. |
The main list
Item | What the row says | What the button does |
Dialing | Open: "Not chosen yet". Done: how you call, for example "Myphoner Voice", "Your mobile phone", "Twilio", "A softphone app" or "You dial numbers yourself". | Choose how you call (or Change once chosen) opens the list of ways to call. |
Phone number | See below. Only appears if you use Myphoner Voice. | Depends on the state. |
Leads | Open: "No leads yet". Done: your list's name and its lead count, for example "Prospects, 120 leads". | Add leads starts the Leads step. Once done, Add another lets you add more. The list's name links to its settings. |
Defaults | "Outcome names, calling hours, time zone". | Review (or Change once done) opens the Defaults step. |
Invite your team | Open: "Only you so far". Done: "You and 2 others". If you skipped it: "Just you for now". | Invite opens the invite form. |
Password | Done: "Password set". If you sign in with an emailed code: "You sign in with a code by email". | Set a password opens the Password step. |
A few notes on these:
Leads: if you chose a template list or connected a CRM, the item is done as soon as the list exists. The row says "{list}, no leads yet" until leads arrive.
Invite your team: this row only appears if your account has a free seat, or someone else has already joined. Buy seats first if you want to invite people. See Buying and removing seats.
Password: this row doesn't appear if you sign in with Google or Microsoft. If you choose to keep signing in with a code, the row counts as done. You can still set a password later.
The Phone number item
This row appears when you use Myphoner Voice and you've ordered a number, asked for numbers in an area, or added your own number. It shows the number and its state:
What the row says | Status | Button |
"{number} chosen, waiting for documents and payment" | Waiting | Upload documents |
"{number} chosen, waiting for documents" (shown when your account already has calling credit) | Waiting | Upload documents |
"{number} chosen, waiting for payment" | Waiting | Pay |
"{number}, documents need replacing" | Waiting | Upload documents |
"{number}, we're checking your documents" | Waiting | See status |
"{number}, being set up" | Waiting | See status |
"{number}, paid for. We're finishing your setup." | Waiting | See status |
"{number}, not ordered yet. Our support team will contact you." | Waiting | See status |
"{number}, active" | Done | None |
"{number}, order expired" | Open | Pick a number |
If you asked for numbers in an area with none free, the row says "Asked for numbers in {area}" and then "Numbers in {area} are ready" when they are. The button is See request.
If you added your own number, the row says "{number}, verified" when done. Otherwise it says "{number}, not verified yet" or "{number}, waiting for verification by our support team", with a See status button.
An order that waits for documents or payment expires after a while. Choose Pick a number to start the order again.
For more on numbers, see Create and add phone numbers.
The Optional group
Email, CRM and Clients don't count toward "N of M done". The page says so: "These don't count toward your setup. Add them whenever they're useful." A done optional item still shows as done, and you can finish them at any time.
Item | What the row says | What the button does |
Connect your email | Open: "Send email to leads from Gmail or Outlook". Done: "Connected as {address}". | Connect opens the connections section of your user settings. |
Connect your CRM | Open: "HubSpot or Pipedrive". Done: "Connected to HubSpot" or "Connected to Pipedrive". | Connect opens the integrations section of your account configuration. |
Clients | Open: "Keep each client's lists and users separate". Done: "1 client" or "N clients". | Add a client opens the new client form. |
CRM is shown but locked, with "Not on your plan", if your plan doesn't include a HubSpot or Pipedrive integration. A locked item isn't counted.
Clients only appears if your plan includes the Clients feature. Without it, there's no row.
Email is available on every plan.
When it's done
When every item in the main list is done, the page says "You're set up." and the "Finish setting up Myphoner" panel disappears from the home page and dashboard. Opening Your setup updates the count straight away. The home page can take up to 10 minutes to catch up after you change something elsewhere.
Your setup stays at the same address, so you can still open it to review your choices.
